In order to fully understand why art is such a huge part of life one must go back to "Cave Paintings"! These pre-historic paintings tell a story and leave images for us to question and learn from today. These people left their "mark" on the world.
Today I will be dividing you up into groups. Within these groups you will be creating a presentation using any method of technology that you would like. (Keynote, Power Point, Prezi, iMovie, etc.) Your presentation needs to cover Cave Paintings!
Questions to answer within your presentation are:

Who are the people that created these cave paintings?
What were they creating these paintings for?
When were these cave paintings created?
Where are these paintings located?
Why should we study these paintings today?
How are they relevant to me?

More than one group of people created cave paintings. How do you want to divide up these groups and time periods within your presentation? The more, the better!! Dive in and explore!!
