5th 6-Weeks Projects for ART 1 & 2

It is that time again, a new six weeks!! Projects are already getting underway!

The project, for all Art 1 and 2 students, is "Claymation"!

Watch past student projects.2/28 - "Brainstorm" Grade! & Assign Character Drawings and Outline Assignment3/5 - "Character Drawings" and your "Outline" is due. (Include a title for your project in the outline.)3/7 - "Scene Sketches" are due3/18 - "Skript" is due*** Once you finish all three assignments, Outline, Character Drawings, Scenes & Script you will receive your polymere clay and begin sculpting your characters, building your props, and making your sets.3/20 - "Sculpting" Grade3/22 - "Characters" Grade3/25 - "Sets and Props" Grade*** Once your first scene is ready you may begin shooting your still shots. Remember to move your characters very tiny amounts for each shot. When we loop them together we do not want any major jumps. You want the shots to flow naturally. You will take your photos with your laptop using "photobooth"!3/27 - "50+ Photos" Check Grade*** Once you get a full scene shot import it into iMovie. (Directions will be in a later post!) You will create a new project and give it a title page as well as ending credits. You will need to take all of your photos off of "Ken Burns" and you will need to set all slide times to .04 seconds. (Directions will be in a later post!)3/29 - "Project Progress" Check Point Grade 4/2 - "100+ Photos" Check Grade4/4 - "200+ Photos" Check Grade4/8 - "iMovie Progress" Check Grade4/9 - Add "Voices"& "Sound Effects" (each will be a separate grade on the 12th)4/12 - "Completion Grade" & "Craftsmanship Grade"!Best Wishes!!!
