Out again... So sorry!!

First of all I would like to apologize for being out for so long! My step father had a heart attack and it has been rough to say the least. He is doing much better and will get to return home today. Therefore, unless some unforeseen circumstance arises, I will be at school on Friday!! With that said you will be having your color theory test on Friday and I expect you all to ace it!!!

VASE students you may continue work on your projects. Storm you may start to paint! All of the new acrylic paint is on the pottery wheel in the corner under the tv. Wash out all brushes and sinks well!! So sorry to the ones waiting on plaster and stuff from me!!!!

Anyway, so I am having issues with Internet connections and am limited to what I am able to post. I am having to make posts from my phone and am unable to link videos, worksheets, and stuff like that. Therefore, I am very limited to the assignments I can give you!

So.....

Your ASSIGNMENT for TODAY is to individually find an ART CAREER or ART DEGREE that you find interesting. It must be in the Visual Arts. Therefore cannot include music or theater. You can look up the different art careers on college websites. These careers include, but are not limited to, ...Graphic Design, Jewelry Making, Photography, Photo Journalism, Visual Effects, Art Therapy, Studio Artist, Art Teacher, Game Designer, Animation, Set Design, Costume Design, Makeup Artist, Museum Curator, Gallery Owner, Fashion Design, Interior Design, Architecture and so many more.

Once you pick an ART career or degree you will need to prepare a slide presentation on Keynote about that career. You must include at least 10 slides with the following information...

1. Career title
2. Career description
3. Images of what the career looks like or what you would produce.
4. Amount of college or technical school needed, if any.
5. Pay scale with in the field
6. Locations you would need to go for the job.
7. Other interesting facts! Hours you would work, famous people within the career, anything extra that could make it more fun. As many slides as you need for this!
8. Include ALL resources!!!
9. Include your name and class period

Friday you will receive a progress grade!
1 slide = 10
2 slides = 20
....
9 slides = 90
10+ slides = 100

So don't waste time and don't talk!

Best Wishes! Love, Mrs. Stewart
