Write your thoughts on some of these first sketches of "Mickey" Mouse created by Walt Disney. What did the artist, Walt Disney, contribute to the art community and the world? Where is Mickey now?

  1. The original Mickey Mouse was not necessarily aimed at children. It was another form of story-telling for the movies. As cartoons, and esp Mickey Mouse started to become aimed at kids, the drawing of Mickey became rounder and cuter. I have a stuffed Mickey from earlier days and it is not the cuddly stuffed toy you see today.
