I know that the man is old. He is playing the guitar. He looks homeless. He doesn't look so happy. This work to me shows that the man is sitting in the dark playing the guitar. The painting is just almost one color which is like a blueish-greenish color.
ReplyDeleteAccording to the title there is an old man playing a guitar. He looks homeless because he is sitting on the floor and his clothes look worn out and are torn. He is sitting on the corner of a building playing his guitar. He seems to be playing for money so he can buy food because he is really skinny and looks weak. You can tell he might be sick because of the great shading that they used to bring out his cheek and leg bones. He appears to have been living on the streets for a while because of his conditions. he also looks as if he is about to pass away judging by his face posture.

ReplyDeleteThis is a very old painting. Pablo Picasso looks very tired in this art work. He looks as if he's so lonley.It looks like hes playing a sad beat. HEs against a wall. He's sitting on the floor.It looks like Pablo is poor.Pablo looks like if hes had a hard life.The guitar looks very old fashion. The guitar also looks like its plain.
This piece of art shows a lot about how the artist feels. The painting itself has extraordinary detail between the body of the man. I believe that the old man's purpose is a homeless man that tries to get money off passer bys by playing the guitar. The painting also shows the pain of being homeless and having to play a guitar to get a few cents. The painting itself is very good it has the great detail and shows a purpose. One thing I do find interesting is that the man has no shoes but by the idea of him being homeless it is understandable. Overall great painting.

ReplyDeleteHe must be starving because he is so skinny. And he bent over his guitar. He is limp and extremely tired. But I think he still playing his guitar because money or food or something. I think he feels lonely and discouraged, he is sitting there by himself.
i see how sad he is, this must have been a low time for the artist because its sad, but i can see that he worked hard and took his sadness out on it because it is really good, it makes me feel sad and makes me think of my past tragidies

There is a man holding a guitar. His shirt has a hole in the shoulder part. He is a old man. He could be poor. He could be on a train or on the streets. He is wearing no shoes. He looks skinny like he hasn't ate in a while.
ReplyDeleteI know that the guy is old. I know that he is playing guitar. I can infer that he is almost dead, or dead. He could have died while playing the guitar because he is so old. I know that he is sitting down. I can infer that he may have been homeless because of his worn-out clothes. He may have died from it being so cold outside. It is night time and that is usually when it is cold. He could have died from hunger because he is pale and looks like a skeleton.

From what i can tell the guy in the art work is that he is playing the guitar and that he is old and wearing a torn shirt. what i can infer from this is that he is very tired or worn out, maybe even poor by the looks of his shirt. The coloring is dark so he is maybe outside also.

its very creative. It shows his expressions on his life. It shows a man playing his guitar very sadly. I think the guitarist is very depressed about something that has happened in his life. He was very in debt about what he is going through in his life. Maybe the guy that created it was very depressed about happened in his life so he decided to draw this picture. I think Pablo did a very good job on his painted of a guy playing the guitar. I like the colors that he has as his background.

This art work to me symbolizes that the old man has been playing guitar for a very long time. Because of the looks of his age. I like how everything in this art piece is blue except the guitar. The old man looks like he could be homeless.

The Old Guitarist has a depressing mood to it. The man is sitting lonely with torn clothes and eyes staring at the floor. Picasso used great colors in this painting they complement eachother. He used good detail when painting the man. It looks as if you could touch and feel every bone on his body.

ReplyDeleteAt the first look this picture creeps me out. The way the body is painted looks like he is broken. From what I can tell, it looks like the old man is poor and that music seems to be his escape. When I really look at the picture it makes me sad for the old man. He looks lonely and like he has no where or no one to go to. He is he is apart of his guitar and that music is the thing that makes him happy.
I think the man is sad. He should make the gutiar more interesting and to make it stand out.

ReplyDeletePablo Picasso is my favorite artist of all time! I know this is for sure during his blue period, i can tell by all the shades of blue. Also, during his blue period he typically made sad portraits. The man in the painting has torn and ratted clothing, he probably does not have a lot of money. He may be playing guitar to earn money. The man also looks grief stricken, something tragic may have just happened in his life.

He seems to be depressed and just very down and unhappy. I know that he is sitting on the ground holding a guitar and he appears to be alone. He looks very broken. You can infer by the title that he is old and doesn't just appear that way. You can also infer that he is a guitarist, ant that he isn't just holding the guitar. He's recalling all the things that went wrong, the loss of his job, family and friends. All this man has left is his guitar. Stricken with poverty and disease he is slowly fading away. If he made a mistake in his life and now stays outside where he now lives. But the only thing he can do about it is play music and show his emotions. He appears bitter, weak, pale, wiped from the social life he once use to have. looks like as if all his mind would focus on is old fading memories.But when he plays the guitar it all changes, he has hope, he has life, he feels like he can make something out of what was nothing, revive his spirits by the tune of his guitar.
