great. You don't see lines on the picture like where her legs are. The picture was drawn at a good angle. It has where the floor ends and it doesn't go on and on. The person who drew it probably had lots of experience in drawing. He probably likes black and white. If he is old he is probably remembering a time when he was young.

What this work tells me is that they are on a dance floor. He is leaning in for a kiss. You can tell because she has her toes like curled in. Its like how you would see it when you like romance movies. You can also tell that they are on a dance floor. Maybe they were dancing before and he stopped just to give her a kiss. This work looks like it was done probably back then because of the way they are dressed. I really don't know much about this work, but all i can say is what i see on here. I see that they look like they are enjoying themselves. The work pretty much seems like he's giving her a nice,sweet,romantic kiss.

There the only two on the floor. Need to darken some areas. One leg on the man looks too strait and un even with the other. Very good drawings though. Maybe needs more detail.

in this picture there are two pepole dancing. The man has on boots that look o be justins and are very detailed and the woman has on high heels. there is a lot of detail in the jeans and boots. and it looks like they are married i guess. and he is probly a country boy and i like how they made him look like that in stead of dress shoes and slacks.
ReplyDeleteThis art piece to me shows the differences of societies at the time between country and city life. This piece shows how even different spectrums of life can still be together. This artist is obviously very good at drawing with the charcoal and I believe he feels strongly about relationships. More than likely I believe that J.D. Hill is known for his charcoal drawings. One of the most intriguing factors is the fact that the two characters are on a dance floor so most likely I believe that the drawing is based off the 1950s for the fact that dancing was a major social activity at the time. Also I believe that because at that time there were two distinct societies, you had country life, therefore the cowboy, and city life, therefore the woman. The drawing itself is spectacular between the detail and the idea. The fact that the drawing is done in pencil is the best part. THe pencil shows the true meaning of the drawing and also could help discover the time period. The idea behind it is also spectacular for the fact that in some terms the two people in it would not be seen as the most likely couple. In ending the drawing is very well done and has a very good theme to it.

It looks like a pretty open space. It seems like they are the only ones there. The light looks like its coming from the opposite direction. The shadow needs to be more darker and more spread out. There needs to be a little bit more texture. It looks like its drawn in pencil.

This work of art is very original, i like the fact that it fits the name. There is a lot of detail in the boots and the ladies legs.
ReplyDeleteI can see all the muscles that are flexing in the leg of the woman due to all the detail that was put into it. The detail on the boots and how everything just kinda pops out makes this piece of art. The fact that so much detail was put into the floor as well i think is very cool. The shading behind the woman's feet, and also the shading between and behind the boots is incredible. Its not too dark but just enough i think to make everything look that much alive. The way it just pops out to me makes me want to go and dance. It makes me think of love and having fun. Its not something i see everyday its fun and original.At the same time it can be rough and rugged by the boots,they look kind of dirty and, sloppy. But its definitely something i would be very proud of, and want in my house to show everyone.
This art work has great values. The shadings are good but on the boot that is to the back needs to be a little longer. The middle of the boot needs to come down more too. But other than that the values and shading of the boots are good. The values and shadings of the ladies legs are good. The shadow in the back ground of the man and lady could be a little darker then go on to light, because it looks like it all blends in together. The floor boards and the lining of the wall board are good. To me it looks like one part of the floor is shiny and one part is not, so that could be fixed. On the man's pants there are more ruffed lines of the pants on one leg but the other there is not. There could be more stuff added to the artwork to make it more interesting then what it is. Like show there whole body and faces. maybe add some color here and there. To my conclusion this is a good piece of art but there could be things in it that could be changed and it would be nice if there were things added to the picture. who ever drew this piece of art is really good and knows what there doing.
ReplyDeleteThis is a really good drawing. It is in Black&White so I think it represents someone's memory. I think there are a man and his girlfriend(or wife) hugging each other. The way the artist set the elements in the foreground gives it such a realistic look. I like the way the artist shaded, it makes everything looks realistic, especially his jeans.

ReplyDeleteJuding by there legs they are more than likely a couple. According to the title is and placement of there legs they are kissing. It's a couple dancing on the dance floor. The two people are completely different. The couple consists of a cowboy farmer, and a girly city girl. It is a charcoal portrait, with different shadings. Also has a good use of thick and thin lines. The portrait is named "Dance Floor Kiss". The artist is J.D. Hill. She used charcoal and pencil for his utensils.

There are 2 people in this picture. One is wearing boots and the other is wearing high heels. I can infer that the one in boots is a man. The one in high heels is more than likely a woman. The 2 people in the picture seem to be dancing. The could also be sharing a kiss. The picture looks like it was taken by a professional photographer. It is in black and white. It also looks like it could have been a drawing but I am not sure. It is also inferred that they are a married.
ReplyDeleteThere are 2 people in this picture. Both of the people in this picture are wearing shoes. The figure on the left is wearing jeans. You cant see what the figure in the right is wearing, only that this person has bare legs. The two figures are standing very close to each other. They are standing on what appears to be a wooden floor, next to a white wall. From the title, you can infer that they are in a dance hall. It is also inferred that they are on the dance floor. Even though you cant see the top halves of the figures, from the title, it is inferred that the are kissing. Also, most people would infer that the two figures are a guy (in the boots) and a girl (in the heels). It is also inferred that the image in this picture is of whole people and not just of legs or of an object made to look like human legs. it is also inferred that they aren't robots or aliens :)

The male is a obviously cowboy and the female looks very feminine because of her heels.This piece of art looks like a mixture of modern day(female) and old day(male).It also looks kind of western. Because the the cowboy and the color of the piece. This piece shows attraction between the male and female. This art work is really neat and well thought out. The drawing has a lot of negative space. Where the legs meet there is mostly dark shading to blend them together. The floor is hardwood which gives it repetition and the white wall gives it a brighter look. The boots look like they have stitching on them which gives them texture, along with the jeans. I know that it is a man and a women and they are on a dance floor. It looks like she is leaning in to give him a hug/kiss. The high hills shows their different styles. He is wearing boots and she is dressed up. They are different but the close at the same time. It is very unique but simple.

What i infer about this piece is that the artist was trying to capture to different kind of people into one drawing.The jeans also have a real life texture. Something that stands out to me is the way the girls legs are positioned. Both pairs of legs are drawn at a creative angle.The shading used on the girls leg also give the drawing a real life type of feel. Overall I think the shading and creation of texture was fantastic.
ReplyDeleteBy the looks of the peoples feet you can infer that they are in love or that they are about to share a kiss. This painting is a realistic type of drawing because it has real textures and the color are kind of like a real colors. They are on some type of dance floor. They might be from texas or something like that because of the boots the guy is wearing. They might be hugging. The way the lady is standing she may be flirting with the man. The shadows of the two run into each other so they must be close together. The shading gives the drawing more value. The wrinkles on the pants have a more lighter color on them to make them more real looking.

ReplyDeleteYou can tell by the name what the piece is supposed to be about. It does look like a guy and a girl are stilling a kiss on the dance floor. You can tell by the way that the girl is standing that she is kissing him. It seems that they are at a western type dance. The drawing is well done. The artist really brought out the textured and appearance of the clothing. You can tell that they are on a wooden dance floor by the texture that artist tries to show. The artist did very good shading in the piece.

ReplyDeleteWell by this pice of art work i know there is a women and a man. The man is wearing boots and the women is wearing heels. I also know that the man has his pants tucked into his boots. I know that they are on a wooden floor and she is lifting her leg up. I can infer that they are kissing because she is kicking up her leg and they are very close. They are also from a later time because you wouldn't see a a women wearing those type of heels now. The man is wearing boots from the 70's because they have the rounder tips and boots now days really don't look like that. I can infer that they are on a dace floor and its a western dance because the title says dace floor and he is wearing boots so thats why i think they are a western dance.

This work andis a good piece of art but there could be things in it that could be changed and it would be nice if there were things added to the picture.
This picture is very realistic. It's 3 dimensional making it look like a real life scene instead of a drawing. This picture has a romantic mood to it. There's awesome shading on the legs which makes them look real. I think someone might have posed for this picture kind of like a self portrait or in this case an leg portrait.

It looks like a couple on the dance floor who is very close together either dancing or about to kiss. The artist made this picture look very romantic and cute. It looks like a western picture because of the boots and also because of the texture and the colors that the artist uses. What this picture is trying to tell me is the guy is trying to kiss her. You can tell by how close they are that they're kissing. Showing just the legs shows off exactly what it's trying to say and mean. The guy's legs look like he's leaning over a little so you can tell it's him kissing her. This drawing is very detailed. It looks as if its a photo. the artist caught the details and angles very well. The woman and man look as if they're leaning in to kiss or dancing, most likely a slow song. This drawing was probably from a while back since u don't see heels like that very much anymore. Going back to the detail, the woman's legs look very lifelike and the man's jeans and boots look as if the artist spent a good amount of time perfecting them to his liking.

ReplyDeleteThis detailed drawing seems like the "couple" is all alone in a dance studio, with something romantic playing on the radio. They are slowly moving along the floor with the rhythm of the music, beat by beat rising as the moment reaches its climax ( she leans into him to seal their relationship with a reminder of how much she means to him). In exchange he holds her to remind her that she is the only shooting star that he see's in his sky. That is what i see when i look into the drawing
ReplyDeletefirst of all this picture is inappropriate. Well it looks as if the female is leaning in for a kiss. The guy looks like he's trying to get more then a kiss. Also the female may be a waitress and the cowboy may be a cig-smoker. I also like to say that the way the pic looks very good details. They can be whispering into each others ears. He must make good money to have boots like those. But she must not make good money Because them high hills are out of style. The photo may also be in the Wild West times.

ReplyDeleteThere is a very fine variety of shading in the image. Shows the legs of a man in cowboy boots and a lady in heels. May be romantic.
The image seems to look like a pair, from different backgrounds, dancing. It looks like an accident gone good. Two strangers shared a dance and ended up really liking each other. Probably from each others dance skills.
This drawing is of two people. The picture is only showing their legs and feet. One person is wearing boots. The other person is wearing high hills. They are facing each other and appear to be dancing. The couple is probably dancing to country music. I think that country is the style of dance due to their shoes and the wood floor. The drawing is in black and white which gives it an older feeling. The shoes appear to be an older style as well. I feel this was set back in the 80's.
